Heinrich Toh is a mixed media artist whose work combines several printmaking techniques, including collagraphs, monotypes, paper-lithography and image transfers. He does not recreate reproductions — making each piece completely unique. I love the layering and surprising textures that are created by the various printmaking techniques Heinrich employs. For me, Heinrich’s work is a reminder to push design beyond the sleek, clean designs that are so popular today and to step away from the mouse.
