Pittsburgh Commission on Human Relations

I worked with the Pittsburgh Commission on Human Relations to understand their mission and audiences in order to create their new identity. The brand of the Pittsburgh Commission on Human Relations represents the organization’s mission to investigate and resolve instances of discrimination in the areas of housing, employment, and public accommodations.

In conjunction with developing their brand, I also created brochures, social media graphics, and other print collateral. The brochures were constrained by the unique design challenge of needing to be able to be translated into different languages, edited, and printed in the office. To accommodate this, I designed brochures that looked attractive without a bleed, used a font with wide language support, used color and icons to help non-English speakers, and had enough open space for varying content lengths.
