City of Bridges

I developed this brand for the City of Bridges Community Land Trust. City of Bridges is a nonprofit Community Land Trust serving the Pittsburgh Region. City of Bridges CLT envisions diverse communities where people thrive, build wealth, establish roots, and foster community ties without risk of displacement.

The Home icon represents the different pieces that come together to create a welcoming community. The foundation of the home is the final piece of the puzzle moving into place and represents City of Bridges CLT.

The home icon that is used in the City of Bridges CLT logo is created from the shapes of a tangram puzzle. Like a puzzle, their goal is complex and requires that everyone work together in the right way to achieve it. While the solution may look easy, it could be difficult to replicate. The tangram puzzle has thousands of different solutions, so the same shapes from the home icon can be used throughout collateral to create unique imagery.
